My phone has made me lazy. I rarely bring the camera and then forget I have pictures when I do. These are from the beginning of Dec. This place in Alpine does a live nativity, complete with Roman soldiers and shepherds and animals. They even have "downtown" Bethlehem inside a barn where you walk the streets and meet bread makers, grain sellers, kids playing ancient games and the likes. It was such a treat to go, despite the freezing weather. Plus my dear friend Jill made us dinner and scones. I love Jill. (For so many more reasons than dinner and scones.)
