Elsie is my TomBoy. Zina is my princess. Note Exhibits A and B. When given the chance to choose their own sunglasses, Zina goes for the traditional girly pair. Lots of pink and sparkles and feminine glory. Elsie could not be tempted with anything but Batman sunglasses, complete with a bat symbol on each lens. After five minutes of trying to persuade her with something even neutral we gave up. She's my girl who loves to fight with swords and guns and wears spiderman and cowboy costumes at friends' houses. Zina's my girl who only wears skirts and loves to play house and pretend to be the mom. It's the perfect combination.
