I usually love Halloween. We do the "theme" costumes and attend lots of parties. I just didn't have my heart in it this year. I didn't even do Zina's hair or make her wear the crown at least for pictures. The day consisted of filling out addresses on my brother's wedding announcements; the night consisted of putting Elsie in her costume just to snap a few shots then off to bed and trick or treating one street of houses with Zina. Good thing April showed up with her cute family for a visit. There's always next year, right?
